Well At Least The Spelling Was Correct

My favorite line from the movie "Dumb and Dumber" is the one where Harry tells Lloyd, "Just when I think you couldn't get any dumber, you go and do something like this... and TOTALLY redeem yourself!" Unfortunately, this article comes with no such redemption. In fact, all it does is comfirm my worst fears about the course of Western civilization. Especially this part: "It would be wicked to give it zero because it does show some very basic skills we are looking for, like conveying some meaning and some spelling," Buckroyd was quoted as saying." That's right. He spelled it right, so he got credit.

And we wonder why the "young folks" seem to be less educated than they were just a generation or so ago.

By the way, for those who are worried, I hope to have a new computer by mid-August at the latest! Yay!

For those of you who are worried, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth yet... I'm just still waiting for a chance to get a new computer. I promise sometime within the next month or so, I'll be up and running again! Thanks to those of you who have stuck with me for this long!!!

I have very strong opinions about abortion, but as I still don't have access to my own computer, now is neither the time nor the place to voice them.
