Who would have thought that giving away money would turn out to be so popular? Apparently, not the US government. "Cash for Clunkers" has run out of cash, and the program is being suspended until further funding can be found.
A congress who couldn't see this coming probably shouldn't be in charge of a $1 trillion-plus health care plan, either.
